About CMB

Concord Music Boosters (CMB) is a non-profit support group for all Concord High School music programs. We help the music directors ensure that every music student at Concord High School has the best experience possible. As parents, guardians and families of CHS music students, we volunteer in many ways to support our students’ activities.

CMB provides volunteers and the monetary support for needed items that are not covered by the departments school budget In past years, CMB has raised money and provided the people-power for the following activities and items:

• Fund the Richard Curry Scholarship (awarded to seniors pursuing careers in music)

• Bus transportation to musical performances and competitions

• Chaperones for all out-of-school music activities

• Sheet music, musical arrangements and marching drill

• Instruments, instrument repairs and sound equipment

• Video and audio equipment for music classrooms

• Maintenance, alterations and repair of performance outfits and uniforms

• Snacks and meals for students

• Truck transport of band instruments and equipment for football games and marching band competitions

• Pit crew, tractor and trailer for marching band performances

• Baking and selling refreshments for concerts

• Organization of music banquets and recognition ceremonies
